(no subject)

Well, I been working at the docks, the past couple weeks. It's right filthy work, and I'm covered in grit by the time I go home every night, but I suppose there ain't much to be done. I got to earn my bread same as everyone else, and just means I got to work more since it ain't so much money as I used to get.

I been hearing they're looking for a few men to work guard duty on some of the warehouses down here since the city guard's too busy with business like breaking into innocent men's houses, I might look into it. It sounds like it might be right up my alley.
